Feature lists control which cPanel interfaces customers can use. WHM packages can reference a feature list so accounts on the same product receive a consistent toolset.
Step by step
- Open WHM → Packages → Feature Manager.
- Create a clearly named feature list for the product or customer type.
- Enable the tools customers actually need and avoid exposing unnecessary functionality.
- Assign the feature list to the appropriate hosting package.
- Test with a non-critical cPanel account to confirm the expected icons are visible.
Important
Disabling a feature removes customer access to its cPanel interface; it does not necessarily undo configuration that already exists.
Checks and troubleshooting
If a customer cannot find a cPanel tool, check both the feature list and any upstream restrictions before assuming the account is broken.
